Ultracentrifuge Bench top
Working Principle
The particles get separated according to their size, shape, density, viscosity of the medium and rotor speed. Thecentrifugeinvolvesprincipleof sedimentation, where the acceleration at centripetal force causes denser substances to separate out along the radial direction at the bottom of the tube. Ultracentrifuges spin the rotors under vacuum, eliminating air resistance and enabling exact temperature control.
Application
It can be used to separate and purify protein, lipoprotein, cell organelle, DND and RNA, also carbon nano tubes, more efficiently than ever.
