The primary goal of this facility is to develop a repository of genetically defined microbial culture collections.

• Ge-HuMiC provides authentic microbial cultures to scientists in research institutes, universities, and industries for research and development.
• Users have the opportunity to use these indigenous isolates for their own research programmes and commercialization, following THSTI terms and conditions.
• Genetically modified microbes with therapeutic potency will also be made available very soon.
