India International Science Festival (IISF) is an annual event organized jointly by DST, DBT, MoES, DHF, and CSIR from the Government of India and Vijnana Bharati (VIBHA). IISF is perhaps the biggest platform in the country to bring together students, researchers, innovators, artists, entrepreneurs and the general public. IISF is also an endeavor to motivate young minds towards science. Due to the restrictions on public gatherings because of the ongoing pandemic, the IISF-2020 will be held on virtual platform. The theme for this year's festival is Science for Aatmanirbhar Bharat and Global Welfare. The Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) is the Nodal Organization of the Mega Science Festival which will be held from 22nd – 25th December, 2020 and CSIR-National Institute of Science Technology And Development Studies (NISTADS), New Delhi is the coordinating institute.
