The Computational and Mathematical Biology Centre (CMBC), Translational Health Science and Technology (THSTI), in collaboration with the Param Hansa Centre for Computational Oncology, IISc Bangalore, will be conducting a “Workshop on Computational Oncology: Multiscale Cancer Modeling and Computational Drug Discovery”, a state-of-the-art event highlighting the latest advancements in modern oncology. The Workshop on Computational Oncology aims to provide a comprehensive platform for understanding cancer as a dynamic, multiscale, and complex biological system through the integration of mathematical modeling, statistical analysis, computational systems biology, and computational biophysics. Building on previous editions current edition also focused on cancer systems modeling and omics-driven approach focusing on epigenetic, spatial and single cell analysis and giving emphasis on computer-aided drug design (CADD) and structure-based computational biophysics, with hands-on exposure to Schrödinger molecular modeling tools. This interdisciplinary workshop is designed for students, researchers, faculty and industry person working at the interface of biology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, and computer science, with a strong emphasis on translational cancer research and drug discovery.
