About the symposia and training
Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (THSTI), in collaboration with Miltenyi Biotec and BIRAC, proudly announces the launch of India’s first hands-on training program in CAR-T cell and gene therapy. This pioneering initiative is designed to bridge the gap between research and clinical application by equipping early-career scientists and clinicians with comprehensive, practical experience—spanning preclinical development, GMP-compliant manufacturing, and clinical translation.
Join us as we build capacity for next-generation therapeutics and accelerate innovation in the Indian biotherapeutics landscape.
The symposia will feature expert-led sessions on the latest innovations, regulatory frameworks, and challenges in cell and gene therapy. Complementing the talks, the hands-on training workshop will provide participants with direct experience in key manufacturing processes, quality control, and compliance practices. This integrated approach is designed to equip researchers, clinicians, and industry professionals with both the theoretical insights and practical competencies essential for advancing therapeutic development and delivery.
Selected participants from all over India will use Miltenyi’s advanced platforms viz. CliniMACS Prodigy for closed-system cell processing.Key Highlights of Training:
- CAR T cell manufacturing with the CliniMACS Prodigy® – TCT
- In process control and quality control – CAR T Express Modes
- Globally Accredited Training Certification from Miltenyi
- Miltenyi University Portal Registration for online curriculum
